Partner Alan Gottlieb

Alan Gottlieb is a 1967 graduate of the Penn State University Smeal College of Business Administration and a 1971 graduate of Rutgers Law School. Besides his many years of business and law experience his accounting background ensures clients a great resource when they bring their business, commercial, estate and family law issues to Sapiro, Gottlieb & Kroll. He worked for Price, Waterhouse (now, PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young). With his accounting background, he understands any complex business or real estate transaction.

His substantial legal experience also includes:

He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Middlesex County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of Middlesex County.

Partner Lawrence Kroll 

brings his unique background to our firm. He was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988, and was graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1991. After graduation he was a law clerk for the Honorable Amy Piro Chambers and the Honorable Richard Rebeck, sitting in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. He practiced for six years concentrating in personal injury, insurance defense and workers' compensation litigation.

Mr. Kroll most recently worked as a mortgage banker for a number of years. His experience in the mortgage banking field gives him a unique perspective in real estate transactions.  He was also exposed to many transactions with environmental issues.

Mr. Kroll has worked both within and outside the legal profession for many years. He is able to blend these experiences to focus on the representation of the firms' clients with both a legal and business background.

Mr. Kroll is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
